The First Quarter of YG Entertainment's Earning is Revealed!

The business profit of YG Entertainment for the first quarter of 2013 was 6,292,000,000 KRW (approximately $5.6 million USD). Compared to last year, it is more than a 44.3% increase over the same period. Their total sales came in at 29,086,400,000 KRW (approximately $25.8 million USD), and their net profit added up to 4,164,000,000 KRW (approximately $3.7 million USD).

YG Entertainment explained, "Our artists' overseas tours and concerts are the huge contributors for the increase because their royalties and sales increased."

As we know this year Bigbang still continued their world tour and has its finale on Seoul at the start of 2013 and PSY has been promoting his follow up single 'Gentleman' overseas.
